This will be held in the atrium from 4:30-5:30 pm and is FREE and open to the public. No outside books may be brought in. America’s only all romance bookstore, The Ripped Bodice, will be handling all book sales, and they will have Ripped Bodice items available, too!

What if I can’t find anyone to come with me? What if I come by myself?
It’s no problem to come alone. Th entire event is full of readers and authors, so everyone you meet would love to talk to you about books.
Do I need to print my ticket?
It’s always a good idea to print your ticket, but if you lose it or forget it, we have a master list. Just make sure the name you registered under is your own name.
Can I switch tables, once I get there?
No. These are reserved seats and there are 8 readers and 2 authors at most tables. Some tables have 9 readers and 1 author.
Can I bring my own books to the signing, or do I have to buy them all there?
No outside books will be permitted at this event.
I bought a ticket, and now I can’t make it. What do I do now?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and which tickets you will no longer be using and we will contact a reader from the waiting list. There are no refunds on tickets.
Where do I park?
There is parking under the hotel and at the Brea mall next door.
Where do I enter?
This information will be provided closer to event date!
What time do doors open?
Doors open for registration at 1 pm. Ballroom doors will open at 1:15 pm.
How do I register?
Registration is now open online. To purchase tickets for the main event, please click here. There is no need to register for the free book signing event.
How do I stay at the hotel? How much does the hotel cost?
Please contact the hotel directly for rates and registration.
Can I get there early?
The hotel is hosting a separate large event, so please arrive to check in for the ballroom event no earlier than 1:00 pm. The main event will start on time at 1:30 pm. The book signing event will start at 4:30 pm.
If it’s sold out, can I still get tickets?
Once the main event has sold out, there will be an option to go on a wait list. Readers will be contacted if tickets become available.
How should I dress to meet the authors?
Dress to make your mom proud of you, no shorts please.
What do I do first when I get there, i.e. registration, etc?
For the Saturday event in the ballroom, you will need to stop at the registration table for your name badge.
For the non-ticketed book signing event, you can just go directly to the event location.
I’m not familiar with most of the attending authors. Is that okay?
You will quickly get to know them. Our authors are the friendliest, nicest authors in Southern California. They want to meet you just as much as you want to meet them. Even if they don’t necessarily write in your favorite genre, you may be surprised by their great books.
Do you need volunteers? How can I help?
Right now we are fully staffed with volunteers, but if we do need some, there will be a posting on the Facebook Group page.
